Stainless Steel 321H Flat Bars is utilized in chloride or fluoride free caustic solutions at moderate temperatures. Stainless Steel 321 Threaded Bars was developed for use in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 1800 – 1500°F (427 – 816°C) where un-stabilized alloys such as 304 are subject to intergranular attack. Pickling of the previously brushed seam area in Stainless Steel 321H Hollow Bars is carried out by dipping and spraying, however, often pickling pastes or solutions are used, where after pickling a careful flushing with water has to be done.
