This Alloy 400 Electrode is a solid solution alloy that can be hardened by the process of cold working. Our Alloy 400 Filler Wire is also known as super alloy, where series of nickel – copper alloys are grouped. The proportions of copper and nickel used to make this Alloy 400 Welding Wire are the same as that found in the nickel ore found in Ontario mines.
