Nickel 200 Round Pipes are solid solution strengthened, commercially pure wrought materials with good mechanical properties over a wide range of temperatures and excellent resistance to many corrosives, in particular hydroxides. These Nickel 200 Pipes is ferromagnetic and provides high thermal and electrical conductivity in comparison to nickel – base alloys, stainless and low alloy steels.
Nickel 200 Pipes is not recommended for service above 600 Degree F (316 Degree C) because long – time exposures in the 800 Degree F to 1200 Degree F range result in precipitation of a carbon containing phase and loss of ductility. These Nickel 200 Pipes also has a high Curie temperature and good magneto strictive properties.
