Our Alloy Steel P22 EFW Pipes is annealed at 1020 Degree C – 1070 Degree C (1868 Degree F – 1958 Degree F) and then water quenched. These Alloy Steel P22 ERW Pipes is also hot worked in the temperature range of 954 Degree C – 1149 Degree C (1750 Degree F – 2100 Degree F). Hot working of our Alloy Steel P22 Round Pipes under room temperature is recommended whenever possible.
Welding methods recommended for these Alloy Steel P22 Square Pipes include SMAW, MIG, TIG and manual covered electrode methods. During the welding process, our Alloy Steel P22 Rectangular Pipes should be cooled below 149 Degree C (300 Degree F) between passes and preheating of the weld piece should be avoided. These Alloy Steel P22 Electropolish Pipes can readily be used down to at least -50 Degree C, where tooling and work surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned before use.
